1970S BOOTSCUT JEANS

The Letters commissioned COALMINE to produce a special 1970s

Jeans from the final era, crafted using 15 vintage black iron sewing machines.
The jeans have a slightly wider boot cut with a loose knee shape, a crotch wing with a classic zipper made of textured cotton tape, a front L-shaped pocket with an exquisite curve, and a triangular reinforced fabric.
The front pockets are exquisitely curved L-shaped with triangular reinforcement fabric. Beautiful horseshoe-shaped pockets on the hips are carefully stitched in place.

The silhouette is a loose boot cut.

The top button is an original iron button with COALMINE logo, and the crotch wing is a custom-made unprinted WALDES button. 42TALON type zipper cotton tape, 100% cotton catan threads are used for sewing threads. The sewing threads are made of 100% cotton catamen threads of different counts.
The pocket pouch cloth is made of sleek with a western pattern unique to The Letters. A leather patch with The Letters logo is used on the back.

The Letters model uses 12.5oz raw indigo denim woven on a vintage shuttle loom, which is used in other COALMINE models. Long and short fibers are randomly twisted at the spinning stage, rope-dyed, and woven on a shuttle loom.
The denim is characterized by the natural unevenness of the vertical fading caused by the random fiber lengths, which exquisitely rises as a texture as the wearer wears it, and the color falls softly.

黒い鉄製オールドミシン 15台を使用して制作する最終年代のジーンズ。
膝のシェイプを緩めたやおら裾広がりのブーツカット、股比翼には質感の良い綿テープのクラシカルなファスナーを使用し、フロントには絶妙なカーブのL型ポケットに三角補強布を完備。ヒップには馬蹄型の美しいポケットが丁寧なステッチワークにより配置されます。

シルエットはシェイプの緩いブーツカット。

トップ釦は鉄製のCOALMINEロゴ入オリジナル釦、股比翼はWALDES製別注の無刻印
42TALON型ファスナー綿テープ、縫製糸には綿100%のカタン糸を用いて、適材適所で
番手を変えて縫製しています。ポケット袋布にはThe Lettersならではのウエスタン柄をあしらったスレキを使用しバックにはThe Lettersのレザーパッチを使用。

生地にはCOALMINEでは別のモデルで使用しているビンテージシャトル織機で織られた
12.5ozの生インディゴデニムをThe Lettersモデルとして使用しています。
紡績の段階で繊維長が長いものと短いものをランダムに撚り合わせ、ロープ染色し、シャトル織機で織り上げます。特徴としてランダムな繊維長による自然なムラ感の縦落ちが履き込むごとに絶妙に質感として浮きあがり、色あたりがやおら落ちてくるとても佇まいの良いデニムです。
